The missions of the library media program are to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information and to become life-long readers. These missions are accomplished by providing access to materials, by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest and by working with the Surry Elementary team of educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of all students.
